The LED status light is your first point of diagnosis. It is located on the underside of the device.
LED Light | Status | What to Do |
No Light | Powered Off / Sleep Mode | Normal between reports if it is on the IY-LITE or IY-HUB unit with 15 minute report intervals. If it never lights up, check power cables, connections, and the battery charge. |
Orange | Starting Up / OTA Firmware Update | Normal on first power-up or during an update. Do not disconnect power. Wait up to 30 minutes. If it persists, contact support. |
Red | Attempting Cellular Connection | Check that the 4G antenna is securely fitted. Check the signal strength (RSSI) for the device on the platform under device setting and the Connectivity tab; a value below 14 can cause reporting issues. Consider an external antenna if the signal is consistently weak. |
Green | Connected to Cloud / Normal | No action needed. Your device is online and reporting. |
