Device Map View

• Geofence Tab

To access the map view of an individual device, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Device:

   • Find the device you want to view within the platform.

2. Select "Map":

   • Click on "Map" within the navigation bar of the selected device.

3. Map and Satellite Views:

   • You will see your device icon on either a map or satellite view. You can toggle between these views using the button in the top right corner.

4. Tabs Overview:

   • To the left of the map, you will see two tabs: "History" and "Geofence".

History Tab

• Location Points:
  • This tab shows all the latest reported location points of your asset. Clicking on each point will zoom in on that location.
• Pick Date Range:
  • You can filter the location history by selecting a date range. Options include "Last 24 Hours", "Last 7 Days", "Last 14 Days", "Last 30 Days", or a custom date range using the calendar view. After selecting the desired range, click "Select Range" to filter the list accordingly.
• Static Assets:
  • If you have a static asset, there will be no historical points under this tab.

Geofence Tab

• Setting a Geofence:
  • Click on "Geofence" to set a geofence around your asset. Two options will appear: "Radius" and "Freehand".
• Radius:
  • Use the "Radius" option to set a circular geofence around your asset. Adjust the slider bar to set the desired distance, then click "Save Geofence". If you want to cancel, select "Cancel".
• Freehand:
  • The "Freehand" option allows you to draw a custom geofence by clicking on the map to set boundary points. Complete the geofence by pressing the "Enter" button.
• Deleting a Geofence:
  • To remove an existing geofence, click on "Delete Geofence".
• Go to Geofence:
  • After setting a geofence, you can quickly navigate to it by selecting "Go to Geofence" in the device map view.
