Editing Fleet Dashboard Components

Once you have added a component to a fleet dashboard, you can customise it to display the information you need.


Here's how to edit various component types.


Editing a Device List


  • Enter Edit Mode:

    • Click "Edit Component" on the device list component.
  • Choose Sensor:

    • Device Types:
      • Select the device types you want to display (IY Lite or IY Hub devices). The selected type will turn green.
    • Select Sensor:
      • Scroll through the list and click the plus icon next to the sensor data you want to display (e.g., Battery Voltage).
  • Component Settings:

    • Sort Order:
      • Use the dropdown list to choose whether the list should be in ascending or descending order.
    • Set Thresholds:
      • Upper Red Threshold: Critical high value (e.g., high temperature threshold).
      • Upper Orange Threshold: Warning high value.
      • Lower Orange Threshold: Warning low value.
      • Lower Red Threshold: Critical low value. (e.g., critical low state of charge threshold)
      • Input values for each threshold. Values outside these points will show as green.
    • Additional Options:
      • Title: Enter a name for your list.
      • Icon: Select an icon to display alongside the title.
  • Save Changes:

    • Once you are satisfied with your settings, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the pop-out to apply the changes and view your list.
  • Delete Component:

    • If you need to delete the component, go to "Component Settings" and select "Delete Component".

 

Editing Notification Logs


  • Edit Component:

    • Click "Edit Component" on the desired component. This will bring up the "Component Settings" pop-out.
  • Notification Log Options:

    • Set Log Display: Adjust the number of logs displayed in your notification list using the slider bar.
  • Additional Options:

    • Title: Enter a title for the log list.
    • Icon: Select a relevant icon for the log list.
    • Show Header: Toggle the "Show Header" button on or off to display or hide the header for the log list.
  • Save Changes:

    • Once you are satisfied with the changes, click the "Save" button at the bottom to save your modifications.
  • Delete Component:

    • If you need to delete the component, click "Delete Component" to remove it from your fleet dashboard.


Editing a Device Map


  • Edit Component:

    • Click "Edit Component" on the device map component. This will bring up the "Component Settings" pop-out.
  • Map View Options:

    • Toggle Satellite View: Use the toggle to enable or disable the Satellite view of the map. If disabled, the default map view will be shown on your dashboard.
  • Additional Options:

    • Delete Component: Click the "Delete Component" button to remove the device map from the fleet dashboard.
  • Save Changes:

    • Once you are satisfied with the changes, click the "Save" button at the bottom to save your modifications and return to the fleet dashboard.


Editing a Pie Chart


  • Enter Edit Mode:

    • Click "Edit Component" on the pie chart component.
  • Choose Sensor:

    • Device Types:
      • Select the device types you want to display (IY Lite or IY Hub devices). The selected type will turn green.
    • Select Sensor:
      • Scroll through the list and click the plus icon next to the sensor data you want to display (e.g., State of Charge).
  • Component Settings:
    • Options
    • Edit the pie chart segments to display the desired information.
      • Segment Title: Enter a title for each segment in the first field.
      • Condition: Use the drop-down list to choose between "Is Between", "Is Below", and "Is Above".
      • Value: Enter the value for the condition. For example, for a segment which is for SoC showing "60%-100%", set the condition to "Is Above" and the value to 59.
      • Colour: Select a colour for the segment using the colour picker feature.
    • Add Segment: Click "Add Segment" to add another segment to your pie chart.
    • Delete Segment: Click "Delete Segment" to remove a segment from your pie chart.
  • Additional Options:

    • Title: Enter a title for the pie chart.
    • Icon: Select a relevant icon for the pie chart.
    • Show Header: Toggle the "Show Header" button on or off to display or hide the header for the pie chart.
  • Save Changes:

    • Once you are satisfied with the changes, click the "Save" button at the bottom to save your modifications.
  • Delete Component:

    • If you need to delete the component, click "Delete Component" to remove it from your fleet dashboard.


Editing a Scatter Graph


  • Enter Edit Mode:
    • Click "Edit Component" on the scatter graph component.
  • Select X Axis Sensor:
    • In the "Choose X Axis" tab, scroll through the list to find the sensor data you want to display on the X-axis and click the plus symbol beside the sensor title.
    • Device Type: Select the device type you want to show in the graph (IY Lite or IY Hub). The selected type will turn green.
  • Select Y Axis Sensor:
    • Move to the "Choose Y Axis" tab and select the sensor data you want to display on the Y-axis by clicking the plus icon beside the sensor title.
  • Component Settings:
    • Title: Enter a title for the scatter graph.
    • Icon: Select a relevant icon for the scatter graph.
    • Show Header: Toggle the "Show Header" button on or off to display or hide the header for the scatter graph.
  • Delete Component:

    • If you need to delete the component, click "Delete Component" to remove it from your fleet dashboard.
  • Save Changes:

    • Once you are satisfied with the changes, click the "Save" button at the bottom to save your modifications.


Moving and Editing the Size of Components


You can customise the size of the components on your dashboard by following these steps:

  • Access Edit Mode:

    • Click the Settings icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This will make the dashboard editable.
  • Resize Tiles:

    • Each tile will display a small arrow in its bottom right corner.
    • Click and drag this arrow to resize the tile to your desired dimensions.
  • Moving Components:
    • Click and hold the component you want to move.
    • Drag it across the screen to your desired location. A shadow will appear behind the component to indicate its new placement.
    • Release the component to place it on the dashboard.
  • Save Changes:

    • Once you have made the necessary adjustments, click the save icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the dashboard.
    • This action will exit the edit mode and save your changes.


By following these steps, you can easily adjust the components to best fit your needs on the dashboard.
